{"id":1159,"date":"2016-03-12T18:07:06","date_gmt":"2016-03-12T16:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/?p=1159"},"modified":"2017-09-30T20:38:06","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:38:06","slug":"devblog-part-29-new-website-is-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/devblog-part-29-new-website-is-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Devblog Part #29 \u2013 New Website is up!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ll start with a little media coverage, check out an article on Bad Pad in the Israeli gaming site <a href=\"http:\/\/vgc.co.il\/content\/4159\" target=\"_blank\">VGC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We got a new domain for the game <a href=\"http:\/\/badpadgame.com\" target=\"_blank\">badpadgame.com<\/a>, I made a neat little teaser with some coded animation check it out!<\/p>\n<p>The demo was also updated, here are some of the new stuff.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve done some work on the main menu, added some parallax scrolling and combined run\/jump keyboard\/gamepad buttons mapping into one setting.<\/p>\n<p>Note, the graphics are still temporary.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3PwWYKM-7RE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve worked on the in game UI, it has all the previous features plus we&#8217;re now showing a face closeup of the character, currently it&#8217;s just playing some frame by frame animations, but we&#8217;re going to break it down to face parts and create some runtime coded animations with lots of variations and randomness, should be cool.<br \/>\nThe UI face will be synced to the different states the character is in and we&#8217;ll most likely throw in a few funny expression to break the tension, the possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/p-wjaZeBRAg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ll start with a little media coverage, check out an article on Bad Pad in the Israeli gaming site VGC We got a new domain for the game badpadgame.com, I made a neat little teaser with some coded animation check it out!
