Spikes &#8211; fixed place.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-1\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spikes.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spikes.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spikes.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>2. Rotating spikes &#8211; comes in many sizes, can be fixed in place or moving in a sine, on this one I added a nice little little feature, I have 8 image points defined, one for each spike and on collision i pick the closest one to the player and pin him to it, pretty straightforward but cool nonetheless.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-2\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/8spears2.mp4?_=2\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/8spears2.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/8spears2.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>3. Metal weights &#8211; hanging from a chain and rotating, on collision I\u00a0throw the player to the other direction to simulate impact.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-3\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/weight.mp4?_=3\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/weight.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/weight.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>4. Flying Bee-Bats, can fly in any direction, but usually in preset sine movement.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-4\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bees.mp4?_=4\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bees.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bees.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>5. Following enemies &#8211; they will follow you if you get close enough.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-5\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/following.mp4?_=5\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/following.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/following.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>6. Teleporters.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 476px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-46-6\" width=\"476\" height=\"256\" loop preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/teleporter.mp4?_=6\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/teleporter.mp4\">http:\/\/headbangames.com\/devblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/teleporter.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>7.
