Phantom Beasts is a side-scrolling action game in 2.5D that mixes the fast-paced combat of the ‘shoot’em up’ genre with the emotion of training powerful creatures in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future.

Solar Sails is a space action RPG with adventure elements. Control a pirate ship, plunder the royal navy, launch a scout duck to search for treasures, upgrade your ship with alien technologies, and sail onwards to unveil the darkest secrets of the universe.

Play like a pirate:
You control a team of space pirates in a galaxy full of dangers, ancient mysteries, and unique alien species. The galaxy is controlled by two human superpowers locked in a cold war. To make a living, you complete quests to build a reputation with various factions, smuggle illegal goods, raid trade convoys, and search for alien artifacts to sell on the black market. But be wary, your actions as a pirate will trigger a response from the authorities.

Control a pirate crew:
In Solar Sails, you control a pirate ship with upgradeable modules, offensive and defensive, that can be manned by crew members. The crew members are all story-related characters, each with their own active and passive skills. Each crew member comes with their own abilities for each of the disciplines – weaponry, navigation, and defense. Your abilities as a player depend on the layout of the crew. How you level up your characters is up to you.

Story:
The story revolves around four main characters – a gruesome self-loathing captain who seeks to bring his family back from the dead; an underappreciated young engineer who searches for his long-gone cat that doubtfully exists; a young cadet accused of mass murder due to her unruly magical powers, and therefore, determined to learn to control them; and a time-traveling duck determined to prevent the end of the galaxy in the future.
Driven by tales of riches and promises of immense power, the pirates open Pandora’s Box – a gateway to another dimension – and unleash an ancient evil that threatens to consume all life in the galaxy. Will the pirates be able to put their personal goals aside and work toward the common good? Or will they doom the galaxy in pursuit of personal ambitions?

While we see the appeal of microtransactions and loot boxes, we feel that in order to create a true old school gaming environment; the game must be free to play.

Kingblade Games is run by Roee Amar, a solo game-dev aiming to create interesting and new game experiences. Currently working on it’s first commercial title, ‘Do Not Buy This Game’, a comedy walk-sim where the game is being built while you play.

The game explores how deep a connection can you create between the player and the game’s creator, only using minimalist game mechanics, humor, and honesty.
History

Every indie developer has been working on a game that they had to shelve because of one reason or another (development took too long, not finding your audience and so many other familiar reasons).
I worked on a game I was really passionate about for a year and a half before stopping and deciding it was just too much for my current self to build.

So what do you make next? And how do you deal with putting your beloved game on indefinite haitus? Well, I decided to make a game out of it.

Cyber Combat gives you all the tools to navigate smoothly and swiftly around every level like a deadly spider swinging around, pouncing on your enemies with your powerful weapons, and then jump back to evade their counter-attacks and prepare your next strike! Use the grappling hook and momentum as your best ally to fly around the arena, running on the walls in search of openings to flank your enemies.

Take advantage of your surroundings and terrain to evade your enemies; wreak havoc pushing enemies to crash them on each other, hurting or killing them and creating chaos in the battlefield to your advantage – with physics-based collisions that can create chain reactions, your skills can help you cause pure mayhem!

* Movement-based combat. Take advantage of dashing, wallrunning, momentum and your grappling hook to smoothly navigate each arena for both survivability as well as destroying your enemies.

* Adapt to your enemies. Each enemy requires different strategies to deal with. Some are designed to force you to move in a certain way, or to make you able to move in ways that are impossible without them; others can spawn more enemies.

* Style and gory kills. Pump rounds into your enemies at close range with your shotgun – or perhaps turn them into scrap from afar with your rocket launcher!
* A gorgeous Tron-inspired world. Explore a beautifully crafted world that draws inspiration from many sci-fi and futuristic themes such as the movie Tron and games such as Ghostrunner.
